Abstract
The synthesis and resolution of beta-(Aminomethyl)-4-chlorobenzeneetha nesulfinic acid together with the GABA(B) receptor affinity for the ra cemate and enantiomers is described. In addition the synthesis and GAB A(B) receptor affinity of the enantiomers of the known GABA(B) antagon ist (Saclofen) is reported for the first time
