SIMULTANEOUS TRANSPORT OF AN ORGANIC LIQUID AND GAS IN CONCRETE

Organic fluids are widely used in our personal world and in technology . Since most of them are hazardous when they join the groundwater, con crete structures are built for environmental protection. Due to its po rosity, concrete is not a priori impervious, and it has to be tested t o determine the requirements to be met for technical applications. Tes ts are presented for measuring capillary absorption and diffusion coef ficients continuously. Five concrete mixes were examined with acetone as test fluid, and the results are discussed.
