Abstract
We report the features of a hibernoma on magnetic resonance (MR) imagi ng. The MR characteristics of this lesion were consistent with a compl ex lipid-containing mass. The mass did not suppress on short tau inver sion recovery (STIR) imaging and was clearly not a simple lipoma. Hibe rnoma should be considered in the differential diagnosis of complex fa tty masses.
