Abstract
A rare intestinal malformation is reported in a boy 11 years old with a 3-year history of abdominal pain and chronic anemia. Laparotomy reve aled a large cecal mass extending beyond the ileocecal valve in the pl ace of the appendix, with bleeding mucosal ulcers.
