Abstract
A set of symmetries of a generalized (2+1)-dimensional bilinear equati on is given by a formal series formula. There exist four truncated sym metries for the KdV-Ito model. These truncated symmetries with four ar bitrary functions of time t constitute an infinite-dimensional Lie alg ebra which contains two types of the Virasoro subalgebra.
