The complexity and cost of diagnostic imaging has increased over the l
ast decade providing exquisite anatomic and functional detail of the p
ediatric urinary tract. Our current challenge is to obtain sufficient
information to make intelligent medical and surgical decisions with th
e least morbidity and at lower cost. Optimal communication between the
clinician and radiologist is needed to arrive at a clear consensus ab
out the problem to be solved and the implications of information to be
gained.
