Abstract
A case of generalized tetanus after human bite of the finger is report ed. The patient recovered with institutional care. We propose that sec ondary invasion by Clostridium tetani is the cause for infection. It c ould be prevented by immediate tetanus prophylaxis, thorough debrideme nt, and primary repair of the wound.
