Abstract
The aim of designing an implantable hear g aid (IHA) is to compensate for some of the disadvantages of conventional hearing aids. The IHA de scribed in this article is a direct oscillation type in which the piez oelectric ceramic ossicular vibrator couple directly to the stapes tra nsmits sound signals to the perilymph effectively. This type of IHA ca n give a better fidelity of sound perception than a conventional heari ng aid.
