Abstract
Samarium and manganese modified lead titanate has been prepared by a n anocomposite approach. Densification behavior of this precursor powder was evaluated in comparision with modified lead titanate powder of th e same composition derived from monophasic (sol-gel) processing method . Better sinterability was obtained for powder processed from nanocomp osite method as compared to monophasic gel powder.
