Abstract
The clonal identity of a mediastinal germ cell malignant tumor and acu te myelogenous leukemia is described in an 11-year-old boy in whom bot h tumors presented simultaneously. The relationship between these two histologically distinct malignancies is discussed in relation to this patient and 34 previously reported patients.
