We consider the kinetics of reversible recombination reaction A + B do
uble left right arrow C, involving diffusive particles A, B and C. We
show that spatial fluctuations in particles concentrations induce non-
monotonic power-law approach to the equilibrium in place of the monoto
nic exponential on time relaxation, predicted by mean-field approximat
ions.
