Abstract
Several ro-4-arylidine-5-oxo-2-phenyl-1H-imidazol-1-yl)-2- phenyl-4(3H )-oxoquinazolines (4a-l), enyl-4(3H)-oxo-3-quinazolinylamino]-N-substi tuted- arylacetamides (5a-n), oxo-2-phenylquinazolin-3-yl]aminocarboph enyl}-N-2- alkyl/arylthioureas (7a-h), 3H)-oxo-2-phenylquinazolin-3-yl ]-N-2-arylthioureas (8a-l) and N-1-{4-[4(3H)-oxo-2-phenylquinazolin-3- yl] abminocarbophenyl}-N-2-carboaryl/aryloxythioureas (11a-h) have bee n synthesized and tested for their antibacterial, antitubercular, anti cancer and anti-HIV activities. The structures of these compounds have been established on the basis of elemental analyses and spectral data .
