Abstract
Our aim in this paper is to establish new comparison principles. The e quation () (r(t)u'(t))' + p(t)\u(g(t))\(alpha) sgn u(g(t))= 0 is comp ared with the equation (l(t)y'(t))' + z(t)\y(w(t))\(beta) sgn y(w(t))= 0. The equations considered can be in canonical or noncanonical forms .
