Abstract
A heuristic approach, based on a microcomputer, for solving vehicle ro uting problem for after-sales service technicians is presented. The '' saving algorithm'' is modified to incorporate the interactive aspect o f the problem. The proposed method is then applied to a real-world pro blem of fielding technician for after-sales servicing of microcomputer s in a big city.
