We report the case of a 41-year-old male, affected by Klinefelter's sy
ndrome and myotonic dystrophy, with an ossifying solitary pilomatricom
a of the scalp and thrombotic nodular lesions of the legs. Pilomatrico
ma, more frequently multiple and familial, is believed to be a cutaneo
us marker for myotonic dystrophy. The leg lesions were attributed to a
primary hypercoagulable state due to abnormal platelet hyperaggregabi
lity.
