Abstract
An experimental investigation on the behaviour of thermally treated ca rbon black feedstocks is reported. The various changes in Physico-Chem ical and Rheological properties of these feedstocks are compared and a relationship between treatment temperature and system colloidal stabi lity is defined. The binary mixtures of different proportion of therma lly treated feedstocks are subjected to rheological investigation to s tudy their compatibility behaviour. A correlation between viscous flow activation energy and stability factor of the system is established.
