Sa. Guseva, TACTIVIN ACTION ON CYTOTOXICITY OF LYMPHO CYTES FROM PATIENTS WITH CHRONIC MYELOPROLIFERATIVE DISEASES, Gematologia i transfuziologia, 39(5), 1994, pp. 22-25
The author studied natural cellular cytotoxicity (NCC) and antibody-de
pendent cytotoxicity (ADC) in lymphocytes from 31 patients with chroni
c myeloid leukemia (CML) and 37 patients with subleukemic myeloleukemi
a (SLM) in active clinical stage. The above parameters were found low
in both diseases. Cytostatic therapy for CML did not affect NCC, but i
nhibited ADC. SLM treatment with myelobromol inhibited both cytotoxic
responses. Combined therapy with adjuvant tactivin stimulated cytotoxi
c reactions activity. Tactivin positive effects persisted for two mont
hs.
