Abstract
The complementary components AP(2) and AU(2), resulting respectively f rom the linking of diacylaminopyridine and uracil derivatives to an an thracenic core, have been designed in order to self-assemble, through hydrogen bonding, into polymeric supramolecular rigid rods (AP(2), AU( 2))(n). The synthesis of these compounds is reported.
