Abstract
The absolute configuration at C-4 of coleon A has been shown to be R. Coleon A crystallizes as a 1:1 mixture of (4R,19R) and (4R,19S) molecu les. H-1 NMR studies of the solution configuration showed that the (4R ,19R) form predominates in deuteroacetone.
