Abstract
A novel flavonol glycoside named caohuoside-B was isolated from the ae rial parts of Epinedium koreanum, along with a known flavonol glycosid e, epimedokoreanoside-I. Their structures were established by spectros copic methods. The new compound was elucidated as anhydroicaritin 3-O- beta-D-(4,6-O-diacetyl)glucopyranosyl-(1 --> 3)-alpha-L-(4 cetylrhamno pyranoside)-7-O-beta-D-glucopyranoside.
