Abstract
Non-resonant two-photon excitation of 2,2-diphenylhexa-methyltrisilane with a 532 nm pulsed laser light induced the two major reactions, sil ylene extrusion and migration of the beta-trimethylsilyl group with a quite different selectivity from that for the single-photon excitation .
