INFRARENAL ABDOMINAL AORTIC DISSECTIONS - CASE-REPORTS

Two cases of limited infrarenal abdominal aortic dissection are report ed. One patient was treated successfully with medical therapy alone, w hich resulted in complete resolution of symptoms and obliteration of t he dissection. The second patient continued to have pain and eventuall y required aortic graft replacement. Abdominal aortic dissection may b e an entity different from thoracic aortic dissection.
