Hemiresection-interposition arthroplasty of the distal radioulnar join
t has been carried out in 12 men. The indication was osteoarthritis wi
th an intact triangular fibrocartilage, or when the fibrocartilage cou
ld be reconstructed. The average age was 41 years and average follow u
p for 53 months. In all the patients, there was relief of pain and a s
ignificant increase in movement and in grip strength.
