Abstract
The interpretation of the ZoNeCo 1 cruise swath-bathymetry and imagery data allow definition of the morphostructural fabric of the southern ends of the New Caledonia and Loyalty ridges. The acoustic imagery dat a show wide areas with sediment-free shoals, possibly covered by Fe-Mn crusts, and gravitational flows from the Loyalty Basin southern part towards the South Fiji Basin.
