Abstract
The in vitro wear of two types of composite resin veneering materials
was determined by use of a three-body wear testing device. The wear of
a microfilled high-filler content composite resin (Dentacolor) was le
ss than that of a hybrid low-filler content one (Visio-Gem). The worn
surface of Dentacolor material was smoother than that of Visio-Gem mat
erial. The wear-testing results and scanning electron micrographs demo
nstrated that the findings obtained by this wear-testing device correl
ated well with clinical findings.
