Abstract
Left ventricular involvement in arrhythmogenic right ventricular dyspl asia diagnosed by magnetic resonance imaging in a 60-year-old man is r eported. High-intensity signal areas in the left ventricular myocardiu m detected by T1-weighted magnetic resonance imaging may suggest repla cement of left ventricular myocytes by fat, and those detected by gado linium diethylamine-triamine penta-acetic acid enhanced magnetic reson ance imaging may reflect disrupted myocytes or fibrous tissue.
