Abstract
This paper studies finitely generated projective modules over exchange rings. We prove that cancelation holds in p(R), and K-0(R) is complet ely determined by the continuous maps from the spectrum of R to Z if R is an exchange ring and R/J(R) is a ring with central idempotent elem ents.
