Abstract
In this paper we study the combinatorial, the topological and the peri odic entropies of Z(d) subshifts of finite type. We show that the comb inatorical and the topological entropies are equal. We give sufficient conditions for the periodic entropy to be equal to the topological en tropy. (C) Elsevier Science Inc., 1997
