Abstract
Pionic decays of A = 4 and 5 hypemuclei are discussed for obtaining in formation about the nucleus-Lambda potential. The results for the avai lable decay widths support as a whole the notion that the nucleus-Lamb da potential has a central repulsion not only in A = 5 but also in A = 4 hypernuclei.
