Abstract
Limits to the accuracy of the reconstructed positron annihilation rate distribution due to the computational errors and the inherent errors in an experimental positron annihilation lifetime spectrum are studied analytically. A formula, which can give a guide to reduce the inheren t errors and to estimate the experimental accuracy, is obtained.
