ASSOCIATION OF ECTOPIC POSTERIOR PITUITARY AND ANTERIOR-PITUITARY HYPOPLASIA WITH ABSENCE OF THE LEFT INTERNAL CAROTID

A boy with congenital hypopituitarism, severe anterior pituitary hypop lasia, and ectopic posterior pituitary was found to have congenital ab sence of the left internal carotid artery. A possible developmental re lationship between hypopituitarism and absent internal carotid is sugg ested.
