Abstract
Hypogonadotropic hypogonadism is a disorder of puberty characterized b y absence of spontaneous sexual maturation. 8 male adolescents with th is disorder, who were treated with pulsatile GnRH administration, were examined psychologically by means of standardized interviews. Problem s were found in the development of independence (specifically relating to own body image and social functioning) and in identity development (particularly on personal characteristics).
