Abstract
The prevalence of Onchocerca cervicalis has been determined in forty n ine horses and two donkeys from Rio de Janeiro State, Brazil. Thirty s even from 49 horses examined had worms in nuchal ligament and 18 had m icrofilariae in subcutaneous tissue from ventral region. O. cervicalis has been detected in both donkeys examined.
