Abstract
Picture quality utilizing the soft chroma-key method is influenced by the degradation on the edge area between the foreground image and the background image. A new technique is proposed to subtract chroma-key b lue while considering the distribution of chrominance on the edge area . A new high-definition television (HDTV) digital chroma-key system us ing this method is described.
