3 CASES OF GROUPED PIGMENTATION OF THE RETINA

We examined three patients with congenital grouped pigmentation of the retina by means of electroretinography, electro-oculography and visua lly evoked cortical potentials. Two patients were affected bilaterally and 1 had a unilateral condition. Electrophysiological findings were normal in all patients, and no inheritance patterns for the disease we re found in any of the patients' histories. Only 5 cases of this disea se have been reported in Asian countries in recent years. We believe t hat our patients contribute to the sample of such cases regarding raci al prevalence.
