The dependence of the yield of x-cyclopentadienyl(nitrosyl)nickel on t
he conditions of its electrochemical synthesis from cyclopentadiene un
der an atmosphere of nitric oxide has been studied with the use of a n
ickel anode. The general character of the reaction has been demonstrat
ed by its extention to monosubstituted ethyl-, isopropyl-, and benzoyl
cyclopentadienes.
