C. Prin et al., ISOELECTRIC RESTRICTION OF HUMAN-IMMUNOGLOBULIN ISOTYPES, Biochimica et biophysica acta (G). General subjects, 1243(2), 1995, pp. 287-289
The partition of human serum immunoglobulins along a pH gradient of am
pholynes was investigated using the recently developed method of prepa
rative isoelectrofocusing. Each isotype was demonstrated to display a
specific pi range, with limited overlapping. IgA appear to be the most
acidic serum immunoglobulins while IgG are clearly basic.
