Abstract
Three species of labrid fishes of the genus Thalassoma occur in the ea stern Pacific Ocean: T. grammaticum, T. lucasanum (T. steindachneri, a synonym), and T, virens (T. socorroense, a synonym). Previous records of the Indo-Pacific T, lutescens from the eastern Pacific represent m isidentifications of T. grammaticum.
