B. Desruelle et al., ANALYSIS OF THE POLARIZATION GROUP-VELOCITY DISPERSION EFFECT IN POLARIZATION-INDEPENDENT NONLINEAR-OPTICAL LOOP MIRROR DEMULTIPLEXERS, Optics letters, 20(5), 1995, pp. 516-518
Polarization-independent two-wavelength nonlinear-optical loop mirrors
are analyzed theoretically by use of a Jones matrix model. The model
is then applied to study the effect of fiber polarization group-veloci
ty dispersion and control duty cycle on the extinction ratio in nonlin
ear-optical loop mirror demultiplexing.
