This article describes a training design to help counselor trainees pe
rceive the positive and negative messages in a client's internal dialo
gue. Twenty graduate counselors-Fn-training produced two 10-minute int
erviews with simultaneous feedback from an anticounselor and a procoun
selor in simulated interviews.
