Tp. Pirog et al., SEPARATION OF EXOPOLYSACCHARIDES SYNTHESIZED BY ACINETOBACTER SP INTOACYLATED AND NONACYLATED COMPONENTS, Microbiology, 63(5), 1994, pp. 470-473
A method for separating Acinetobacter sp. exopolysaccharides into acyl
ated and nonacylated components has been elaborated. Both polysacchari
des are characterized by equal molar ratio of neutral monosaccharides
(rhamnose, mannose, galactose, glucose), glucuronic and pyruvic acids.
Dependence of the properties of Acinetobacter sp. solutions on the ra
tio of acylated and nonacylated polysaccharides in them is assumed.
