Abstract
The addition of N-aryl substituted amides to non-activated terminal al kynes is efficiently promoted by the Ru-3(CO)(12)-PCy(3) catalyst syst em, affording the corresponding linear (E)-enamides in good yields wit h high regio- and stereo-selectivity.
