Abstract
A comparative study of the adsorption of Cr(VI) from aqueous solutions by cobalt, manganese, and iron ferrites was carried out. It was shown that the sorption activity of the ferrites under study increases in t he series CoFe2O4 < MgFe2O4 < FeFe2O4. The effect of pH and the compos ition of aqueous solutions on the degree of chromium(VI) extraction by iron ferrite was studied.
