Ny. Borovkov et al., PERMEABILITY OF ENVELOPES OF MICROCAPSULES BASED ON UNMODIFIED GELATIN, Russian journal of applied chemistry, 67(3), 1994, pp. 466-467
The influence of the polymer ratio and solution acidity an coacervate
properties in the gelatin-carboxymethyl cellulose system has been stud
ied. The data obtained were used to determine the most favorable condi
tions for microencapsulation. Kinetics of nonanol release from the cor
e of microcapsules into the medium (hexane, water) have been studied a
t 25 degrees C by the method of a rotating bowl with GLC monitoring Th
e treatment of microcapsules with Styromal solution (0.5% relative to
gelatin weight) results in the formation of a water-resistant envelope
. The substance can be transported through this envelope by diffusion.
