A 61-year-old man underwent orthotopic heart transplantation for end-s
tage ischemic cardiomyopathy. The donor presented with Wolff-Parkinson
-White syndrome and the allograft was successfully transplanted. The a
ccessory pathway was interrupted postoperatively by radiofrequency cur
rent catheter ablation, and the patient is clinically well and free of
preexcitation 24 months later.
