Abstract
Methods and conditions for obtaining the frequency factor S (s(-1)) in the case of thermoluminescence (TL) second order kinetics are discuss ed. The validity of using the condition of maximum intensity in the ca se of first order kinetics to obtain S in case of second order is chec ked. Unlike the first order, the evaluation of S in the case of the se cond order seems to be difficult. However, instead of S, a pre-exponen tial factor S '' (s(-1)) is inserted, which is a dose dependent parame ter. The method for obtaining S '' is developed during the present wor k. Finally, a simple analytical method is suggested to obtain the rela tive value of the initial concentration of trapped electrons n(0) (cm( -3)).
