Abstract
Two patients with acute nonlymphocytic leukemia (ANLL) who developed n eutropenia, bilateral lung infiltrates, and did not respond to convent ional antibiotic therapy nor amphotericin B are described. Clinical aw areness and suspicion of Legionnaires' disease (LD) and early administ ration of erythromycin lead to their cure before the diagnosis of LD w as confirmed.
