Abstract
P-Chloro(bistrimethylsilyl) methylene phosphine gives ene reactions wi th simple alkenes and with alpha-ethylenic hydrazones. Aza Diels Alder reactions are not observed with latter compounds but are possible whe n the azadiene bears electro-donor substituants.
