Abstract
The authors present an equivalent circuit for induction motors fed fro m a non-sinusoidal supply. The equivalent circuit presented takes into consideration the effect of stray fields. The validity of the theoret ical results is checked by test results. The paper presents numerical methods to compute the different loss elements.
