Abstract
It was shown that susceptibility of V95 and D16 alloys with protective coatings applied to pitting (PC) and layer corrosion (LC) under servi ce conditions is described by extremum functions. These functions have been attributed to decomposition of solid solution, segregation, and change of grain configuration. The service stages at which aluminum-ba se parts are most susceptible to PC and LC were detected.
